The Effectiveness of Family-Based Treatment on Craving in Girl Students with Substance Abuse

Background: Substance abuse and addiction are serious problems all around the world. Increased substance use tendency in adolescents has attracted researchers' therapists' attention. Objectives: The current study aimed to evaluate effectiveness of family-based treatment on craving girl students with abuse. Patients Methods: In this multiple baseline experimental single case study, four families their who were engaged selected using purposive sampling technique. (FBT) was performed three phases baseline, intervention, follow-up. Data collected Craving Beliefs Questionnaire (CBQ). data analyzed descriptive statistics methods. Results: This demonstrated that FBT could significantly decrease craving, 40.08% improvements. Conclusions: can be considered as an effective strategy for changing dysfunctional cycle family system decreasing adolescents.
